I am a happy, content, relaxed person. Having arrived in this state, in part, by focusing on the positive aspects of life; flowing around life’s obstacles like water around a stone; finding a cohort of the right people to be my companions, colleagues, and proteges; and focusing on a purpose greater than myself.

I’m not desperate for a role or gig. I even turn down work - especially roles that promote irredeemable qualities, unless it’s obviously for comedic purposes. When I do book a role I throw myself into it, following the motto of my home state to become that character for the camera, the audience, and my fellow players: ”Esse Quam Videri” - To be, rather than to seem.

This is so much easier to accomplish when one is relaxed, content, and happy!
